You are right! We already know who is the new winner of the prize of LOEWE Craft Prize. An award that in this year's edition has fallen to the potter Jennifer Lee.
To win this award, this Scotswoman has used a beautiful vessel made by hand in clay mixed in the traditional way with natural oxides.
Jennifer Lee received the award in London from the British actress Helen Mirren after imposing on 30 finalists from different disciplines, among which there were pieces of furniture, glass, jewelry or carpentry.
In addition to the award granted to Lee, the jury has also awarded two special mentions to the French textile artist Simone Pheulpin thanks to his work Croissance XL, and to the Japanese potter Takuro Kuwata for his work Tea Bowl.
