Moisture, oxygen and carbon dioxide are some of the members of the ZN equation, which results in aging of the zinc with a delicate white patina and that in Ciel d'orage is amply demonstrated with this beautiful composition that adorns our octave decorative week.
A short period of time in which, however, some have already been able to enjoy a small vacation, such as Sencha, who has traveled to Paris and shows us his interesting discoveries. Or Maria who is in Berlin excited about shops and colored bowls.
Jon hasn't left yet, he's still in Catalonia where he's been lucky enough to attend the 2009 Design Awards for Recycling: Recycled / Recyclable Design, organized by the Agència de Residus de Catalunya. The winning piece was Zebra from Curro Claret, a well-designed bicycle lane separator made with a recycled material of complex treatment and responding to the need to give a successful response to the concept of sustainable mobility in the city. Special mention was also made in this category of the Belloch chair, of Santa & Cole, to the Ecoalf 1.0 suitcase collection, from Fun & Basics, and to the composer Combox, of Composters.
Alicia is also still here, admiring the work of Andre Putman, that woman, a reference of modern interior design, who at the age of 84 is still active, evolving and creating precedents.
And you know, as always, if you also have a personal blog or know any that you think is of interest for our decorative week we would love you to share it with us by writing to editors @ decoesfera.com. We will see you here next Sunday. Until then.
