Yansy is a Miami designer who slept in the room you see on these lines. A priori, we see that he has respected the canons of traditional design: it has an impact wall, in red; has put the rest of the walls in cream color that helps focus on the anterior wall; placed curtains to match its impact wall; It even has matching furniture.
Why would you squeak too? That same Yansy thought when he launched to give a radical change to his bedroom, as you see under these lines. The first thing that changed it was the painting, since red, being a warm color, does not invite rest, but rather is restless, so he opted for the classic (and very chic) sky blue.
What Yansy did, as he says in his blog, was apply dark paint (I think it's black, but in the post they say it's brown) and painted with chalk, by hand, The trees you see The paint was plastic type with a matte finish, and when it finished with the chalk, it applied fixing spray so that the design did not come off with the friction (although in principle normally this wall should not have many frictions).
Besides of spectacular change on the impact wall, we see how the old wooden bed has changed for a more modern one with the padded headboard. Another great success, at least in my opinion, was to change the tables that looked like mazacote, for some tables (I think they are Lake type of Ikea) on which new lamps have been placed. I like the detail of the tray on the table on the right, as it gives a very homemade touch but also adds color to a corner that would be very dark.
Another detail that has also contributed to modernize the stay is the change of heavy bedspread and cushions By others lighter white, which also leave the house ready for summer. As always, if you want to share with us your "Before and after", we would love to receive it in editors @ decoesfera.com
