The "before and after" that I bring you today is a one bedroom remodel that has come out really cheap to its owner, for something more than 220 euros have gone from a rather bland environment to a rustic corner but very chic. As you can see in the image above, we start from an intense green wall and a bed with a very classic wooden headboard but very boring at the same time.
The worst of the "before" are floor mats, put a little on the tuntun without having to do much with each other. Observe how some Persian type have been combined with a carpet of something that looks like moles, occupying the whole part of under the bed covering the floor that for my taste was quite good. In my opinion, for the beds I prefer to put only one carpet on the side (or on each side if necessary) but without going over, just enough not to step on the cold ground in the morning.
As for the bedside tables, for me they have a pass although the golden garlands I just didn't see them, and the lamps seem like a find since they are original. In fact, both elements have been respected in the "after" you have under these lines.
Obviously, the first thing that went outside in the reform was the terrible green paint on the walls. In this case, a black paint which for me is a bit radical and subtracts a lot of light. Another equivalent option for this bedroom would be to have painted dark blue. In addition, although it is not seen in the photo, the other walls of the room were light gray to make the contrast.
The bed has been the biggest investment that has been done in this remodeling, and has been changed to a larger one, which has forced to eliminate one of the tables. Also observe how on the table they have removed the garlands that did not convince me and have been painted in black taking advantage of what they had. They have also kept the lamp that was on it, but this time they have placed a picture behind to give some wall to the wall.
He headboard they have done it with some planks that they already had in the family, as they explain in the post. For me it is the great success because without it we would have a chic but rather bland bedroom and the headboard gives a touch of personality that I love. Another great success in my opinion has been the removal of the carpet under the bed but notice how they left the Persian carpet but have placed a cowhide underneath to reinforce the rustic aspects of the environment.
I think the change is very successful, especially the wall color Even if it's too dark for my taste. Of course, I think the new color will end up billing the owners of the house because it reduces brightness and it may happen in a couple of years. However, I see very positive how they have reused many of the elements of the first image to create a totally different environment, don't you think?
